Swine Reproduction Workshop July 23rd
LANCASTER, WI – Wisconsin Pork Association and UW-Extension will be hosting a Swine Reproduction Workshop on July 23rd, 2024, at Minitube USA’s headquarters located at 419 Venture Ct. Verona, WI 53593. Pork producers of all kinds and allied industry members are invited to attend this valuable, educational event.
To start the day, attendees will be provided lunch and then have the exciting opportunity to tour Minitube USA’s facilities. Following the tour, producers will hear John Quackenbush, CCO, and his team discuss semen storage and handling sow breeding and boar collection techniques. After that, the focus will shift to health management, vaccination considerations, and biosecurity.
This workshop will assist producers of all ages in maximizing the effectiveness of their production skills to achieve their greatest reproductive efficiency. Attendees will get practical, real-life insight from some of the industry’s most skilled professionals and can ask their most challenging questions regarding reproduction within their operations.
